50 Staniford Street, 9th floor Boston, MA 02114 The Massachusetts General Hospital General Medicine Fellowship site is located in downtown Boston within walking distance of the Charles River and public transportation. The General Medicine Division is based in 50 Staniford Street, one block from the main hospital campus. Research in general medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital is predominantly conducted in the Medical Practices Evaluation Center (MPEC). Research groups in MPEC include the Clinical Epidemiology Unit (Daniel Singer, Chief), the Health Policy Research and Development Unit (David Blumenthal, Chief), the Health Decisions Sciences Unit (Albert Mulley, Chief), the General Medicine Unit (Michael Barry, Chief), the Tobacco Research and Treatment Center (Nancy Rigotti, Chief), and the Epidemiology and Outcomes Research Group in the Partners AIDS Research Center (Kenneth Freedberg, Chief).
